Welcome to the Practice of Dr O P Sharma

With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

The Covid-19 vaccination programme has begun. When it is your turn to be vaccinated, the NHS will contact you. Please do not contact the NHS.

In Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, a few different health and care organisations including hospitals, GP practices, care homes, and others are working together on the Covid-19 vaccination programme. This means when it is your turn to be vaccinated, this may not be at your GP practice. You will be told where to go for your appointment and how to book.

In line with expert guidance, the first priority for vaccination is care home residents and staff, people over the age of 80, and frontline health and care workers.

We understand a lot of people want to be vaccinated and would like to reassure you this will happen. Please be patient and wait to be contacted.

The public has an important part to play to help:

  • please don’t contact the NHS to seek a vaccine, we will contact you;
  • when we do contact you, please attend your booked appointments;
  • and please continue to follow all the guidance to control the virus and save lives.

For further information on why you are being asked to wait for your Covid-19 vaccine, please read the information on the GOV.UK website or this leaflet.

Appointment Cancellation Answer Machine Service

Missed appointments cost the NHS thousands of pounds per year. Although the majority of our patients attend their appointments on time there is the minority that don't. To save you time in the call queue we have added an answer machine option to our phone lines for you to cancel any appointments you no longer need.
